brainrot w me on sims 3 :PP

I've been addicted to sims 3 for a couple days, and I'm just glad I dont need 10 gb worth of mods just to play it the way I want.

So far, I've moved into a place in the game that represents one of my brainrot countries, Diamantis Paradiso, which looks like 1920s america with art deco/noveau aesthetics, and a lot of stuff has happened.

- my husband (ifykyk) and I got into a job at a culinary business
- someone just hit on me and gifted me a painting
- Wonyoung got hit on by some bald guy and her brother shooed her off
- A zombie nearly attacked me and we ran home
- my husband got a promotion cuz he is handsome (our boss must have had a crush on him!! 😡) but i didnt even if we both worked hard
- we got exhausted caring for two babies. Regaining energy is so hard in this game!
- our tv and vinyl speaker broke and a repairman went there to fix it but died from being electrocuted by the vinyl speaker thing
- gaeul and wonyoung are traumatized by seeing the repairman's ghost
- I quit my job and decided to sell books for a living
- an art noveau computer shop opened along with a hotel made entirely of ice
- a guy wanted to date me and I declined. So glad my husband hasnt found out!
- Wonyoung's blog gets occasional donations
- my character's still working on her second book but never gets to finish it cuz of the babies

all that in like two-three days of playing 😭
Back then I never gave sims 3 a chance due to its horrible optimization and how it ran badly even with my pc (but then again, years ago I had all the dlcs). Turns out it runs so much better with less dlc, and I could honestly care less about into the future and those irl artist collabs this game has. It even runs so much better than sims 4, and loads even more lots and details! SIMS 4 COULD NEVER
With all that being said, sims 3 is like a more portable and "low-end" version of inZOI, especially that I'm more than sure my current laptop does not meet inZOI's minimum requirements, so I'm glad I can still have a similar enough experience with this game. Couple that with the third-person mod which allows me to control my character judt like in inZOI!!
