Brainrot: Loona

loona's always intrigued me with their lore, but I never found the theorists intuitive and that their lore is clashing with my already madeup lore. so i made my own, based on very vague hints given by loona's mvs. anddddddd of course combining other media's lore to connect with loona. like every other fandom that entered my world.
For starters, we have the nobles (odd eye circle), the lost souls (1/3) and the rebels/outcasts (yyxy), a once thriving community now divided by hate, prejudice and gossip.

The story hides in some of their music videos, scattered but there. And one of them, most obviously, is love4eva.

As you can see in the love4eva mv, the place looks like a paradise. The four girls live in a beautiful mansion-esque building nestled in a green and flourishing forest. The girls are seen as perfect, pristine, just the way they should be. But whispers are shared in secret and dreams are made, things that are not meant to be in their woodland paradise. They also have this creepy ahh girl, which I'll label Cocomong, who watches their every move in the mansion.

This paradise represents Emphyre, a dystopian country in which everything is strictly monitored under the threatening lens of the Agency... which is a subsidiary of the Empire, which rules on these dystopian nations in general. Get my point? THE LORE THICKENS. Cocomong is a terrible enemy of Loona and everyone else in Emphyre. He rules and thrives as Emphyre's leader. This sausage monkey enforces all of the rules, and the Loonas have no choice but to obey. Or so they thought.

Remember how the Loonas are divided into three partitions? So what if it's a social commentary on the social hierarchy? Loona 1/3 are the lower half, Loona Odd Eye Circle are the privileged nobles, and Loona yyxy are the rebels, the outcasts.

Notice how the Loonas don't even have near-distinct outfits. Because the Empire hates individuality and people are separated by social class. The yyxy Loona members have the most scrutiny next to Loona 1/3, because of Yves' nature; they're the most vulnerable to rebel. Loona 1/3 have a bit more freedom, being able to go around the world and travel, but there's still a tinge of sorrow or guilt clouding them. They represent the innocent and maybe naive side of the people. Thankfully, they still get to live somewhat normal lives, having innocence and only yearning of love and romance. But Loona Odd Eye Circle have the most freedom. They can do many things the other Loonas cannot. They know all and everything most Loonas don't, and either they contribute to the imbalance or they couldn't do anything about it but watch.

And by the end of the mv, with three of the four girls gone and Hyeju left in the forest, there are some questions. Why did they leave Hyeju alone? Why is she feared? Maybe she warned them not to go, that the outside world is too dangerous? Yet the other Loona girls wanted to leave, feeling suffocated and choked by the strict guidelines and harsh upbringing they had to endure. They wanted to live a normal life, and they couldn't under the Agency's scrutiny. And Hyeju feels betrayed, left alone to her thoughts.

You see, life wasn't always like this in Emphyre. They were one nation, united, harmonious and together. But a terrible war divided Emphyre from Myempheria into Emphyre and Myephere, and thus, the three groups of Loona forming. And this is all because of Cocomong and the Empire. And Loona as a whole? It's just the Loona girls struggling and trying their best to find a way to bring their two nations together again. But it's a long and arduous process...
